I was provided free service with IDX by a former company that had a breach of my data. My subscription is about to run out so I wanted to sign up for a paid subscription ahead of time. Not possible. I cannot sign up for a subscription until my free subscription is expired. Then, I was informed that ALL of my info I entered would be deleted. No grace period at all from free to paid subscription. I will have to reenter all my information again. IDX reasoning is they don't want people's data kept in the system when they are no longer subscribed. I can see if people do not continue with IDX services, but when I want to continue just have to set-up a paid subscription, my data should be kept. Keep the grace period short like 24 or 48 hours. After all, that is IDX business to keep people's data safe. I work for a security tech company and there are ways to do it and safeguard people's info. This process definitely needs changing.
