A few suggestions that I use to reduce the SPAM traffic.
1. Go to the FTC Do Not Call List and register your phone number
2. When answering a SPAM call - wait for the "bloop" and repeat it back twice-"bloop, bloop"
3. Autobots-press the * key 3x some software requires the # key 3x then the 2 key
4. Text messages are usually "Stop" or "End"
5. I answer in a foreign language and not English or a whisper or announce an imaginary place
6. Tell them they are on a recorded line -
The FTC list will put the out of band callers on notice
The "bloop" means it is a pick up and the double "bloop" you are ending the pickup
Most of these have rid my phone of SPAM callers and I do miss them after awhile.
Don't let them frustrate you- and be creative.
