Reduce the tedium of getting verified initially

I'm a new user. I went through the questions (which I guess were to match to my credit report). But how to I respond to a phone number I haven't used in over 10 years? Or a license plate I haven't used for over 3 years? I said I didn't recognize them since they weren't current. And after the tedium of all the questions, you announced I couldn't be verified. Thanks.
