Tell me how I can stop the fraudulent phone calls that I have been receiving for the past 4 months and continue to receive 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM asking about MDCR Enrollment which I am not eligible for but, my deceased husband was. 20 calls a day from all different phone numbers (never the same) and from different towns, cities and states (never the same). This is so annoying I am considering changing my phone number.
My credit cards are being accessed (Ex: Amazon). I’ve been on the phone throughout the summer due to fraudulent purchases and activity on my Amazon card. Also, my Debit card has been used for many purchase transactions. This took place 4-6 times since February, 2023. My bank had to freeze my debit card and checking account repeatedly and I had to go to my bank to get newly issued cards. The bank had to go investigate and only then was my money returned to my checking account. This all caused late payments to my billers due to drafting from closed debit cards or, the inability to access my frozen checking account. Not to mention the stress of all of this. I am now left with poor credit. I’ve had to take the time, a lot of time, to call billers who were not willing to make pay date adjustments or, remove late payment penalties. Also had to reset up all new auto pay (add new card info) to biller websites many times over the summer even while away and out of town. During the freeze and not having use of my debit card I also did not have access to my bank checking account. This caused me to have to use other high interest credit cards. What can be done to stop this. How can I b reimbursed for my time, stress, sweat, tears and money spent? Thank you
